The KFTC provides Fire Operations Training to our members, using a consistent training curriculum, developed, and delivered to enhance and streamline mutual aid operations. Fire Ops training will include the following areas:

• Block Training – Quarterly Multi-Company Operations/Live Fire Training

  • Crawl-walk-run approach

  • Aligned with ICS continuing training topics

• Firefighter Fundamentals Manual and Quarterly Training

  • Created and revised through quarterly meetings with subject matter experts from each department to ensure safety and uniformity in how we talk, how we train, and how we work.

• Specialized Training – Providing admin/technology for tracking skills maintenance, deliver Awareness/Operations level refresher training to the rank and file, support drills with facilitation, planning, resource acquisition, other logistics, and eventually host classes.
